My name is Tom Powell, Owner-operator of Nuwave Productions.
I’m based in St. Petersburg, Florida. I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years, starting as a hobbyist with a passion for street photography and cinema.

My philosophy is about layers. A dynamic image is built from many small details: lighting, composition, color, emotion, setting and more, all working together. And then there’s the one element you can’t control, spontaneity. That’s where the magic often happens.

When working with clients, my process is simple: be open, listen, and collaborate. This is where real genuine creation happens, and where stories-images feel right.

I founded Nuwave Productions to bring that same passion for detail and storytelling to every project. From brand campaigns and events to weddings and personal portraits.
My goal is simple: create visuals that connect deeply, inspire, and evoke emotion.
